Worship

Church starts at 10:15 a.m. on Sundays after Labor Day weekend through the Sunday
of Memorial Day weekend
. During the summer worship begins at 9:30 a.m.

Come into the historic sanctuary where there is a pipe organ given to the church by Andrew Carnegie.  Hanging in front of the pipes, a cross that was placed there in honor of a dear member who passed away. and there will be sense that God is with us.  You will be greeted by an usher who can answer any questions and will welcome you to our church home. Worship starts with the beautiful sound of the organ, then Pastor Grace welcomes us and calls us into a time of worshiping God.

Worship is a time to sing, pray, hear the Bible read, and say what the church believes.   Pastor Grace or Rev. Jeff discuss the Bible and God in a message to be shared with all.   Following the service all are welcomed to the Fellowship Hall to share lives, stories and truth about God over food prepared by people of the church.

What to Expect

As you step into our historic sanctuary for service on Sunday mornings, we hope that you will sense that God greets you as warmly as our congregation.

At the front of the sanctuary, you will see a pipe organ gifted to us by Andrew Carnegie in 1915.  Hanging in front of the pipes is a graceful modern wooden cross, placed as a memorial to one of our dear members.  Please find a seat in the pews wherever you feel comfortable.   There are 2 large screens on either side of the organ pipes with words of scripture, songs, parts of the sermon, and other important information shown during the service.Worship begins with the beautiful sounds of the organ rising to the vaulted wooden ceiling, and then pastor Grace welcomes us and calls us into a time of worship of God.  During our worship, we sing, pray, hear Bible readings, speak to what the church believes, and share our joys and concerns.    As a way to deepen our faith, Pastor Grace and Reverend Jeff tell us stories and learnings from the Bible and God in a sermon.  As we wrap up worship, we look forward to the chance to greet our church family in Fellowship Hall for a time of food and conversation during our coffee fellowship.
