Every Sunday morning, adults meet in the Education Wing at 9:00 am for continuing study of “The Story” with teacher Jim Bartlett.
Chapters of the Old Testament are presented in an easy-to-understand, chronological format with prompts and opportunities to discuss major and minor points. Jim has an extensive background in teaching the scriptures and always has valuable insights for thoughtful consideration.
An ecumenical Community Bible Study is held year round on every Tuesday morning from 10-11:30 AM. We are currently studying the book Experiencing the Heart of Jesus by Max Lucado.

Every Wednesday evening, members of the congregation who are interested in viewing the series “The Chosen” meet for a light meal provided by Congregation Care member, Jim Bartlett, and his wife, Pat.
Beginning at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Participants eat, watch the 45-minute movie then share their impressions and discuss the events of Christ’s ministry.
Every Thursday morning at 10:30 am, members of the community join teacher Pat Bartlett in Fellowship Hall to study a chapter of “The Story”, an easy-to-understand version of the Bible’s story of God’s divine plan for the children He loves.
Questions, a short video and a discussion of the scripture detailed in that week’s chapter follow. Everyone is invited to stay for a short, light luncheon provided by pastors Jeff and Grace Howard.

Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (I Corinthians 13:7-8 )
“Although we’d rather have our loved ones with us, it is reassuring to know that we don’t have to completely let go. God has blessed us with thoughts, memories, and a love more powerful than death itself. Through these gifts our loved one can forever remain a cherished part of our lives.” (from Rebuilding and Remembering by Kenneth C. Haugk)
