At First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon, we celebrate music as a wonderful way to praise God and raise our voices. We have wonderful instrumentalists and a New Song Team of musicians that bring joy, inspiration, and a sense of unity to our congregation through sharing special musical performances and leading our hymns and praise songs during worship services. Our music ministry is a vital part of our worship and community life.
We warmly welcome singers, instrumentalists, and anyone interested in music to join our team and help our music ministry grow! Whether you are an experienced musician or simply have a love for music, there is a place for you here.

Our Prayer Blanket Ministry is a heartfelt program dedicated to providing warmth and comfort to those facing hardships and in need of prayer and healing. Through the loving hands of our congregation, we create and distribute blankets that are blessed by our congregation in hope that they will provide the recipient with much warmth, comfort, and healing.
